The hotel has clean and comfortable rooms in a nice location, but had a huge cockroach in the bathroom upon arrival. The service was a bit mixed with the staff coming to the door early but being hard to locate at the front desk. The location is ideal for exploring New Orleans but was under renovation during the stay. The dining experience was pricey and not impressive, and the facilities are decent.

Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean and spacious, some facing a beautiful courtyard, but the noise from the nearby nightclub that goes on until 6 am can be disturbing. The service was mostly hospitable, except for the nighttime security guards who seemed a bit distant. The location is excellent for exploring, being right on Bourbon Street, but the street itself is not the best smelling. The dining options were not sampled during my stay. Overall, a place with its ups and downs.
